Our Zodiac coasters are made of natural slate with a chipped edge, and have rubber feet to prevent scratching or marring of the surface. The design is engraved directly into the slate with a laser.
Each coaster features an artistic representation of one of the signs of the Western Zodiac set in a field of stars (including a representation of that sign's actual constellation), along with the alchemical symbol for the element associated with that sign (Earth, Air, Water, or Fire), the traditional symbol for that sign, the name of the sign, and other decorative elements.
Most of the design is engraved in a pale gray. A few elements are engraved in a tan/gold: the sun, the alchemical symbols, the name of the sign, and the symbol of the sign.
